Meeting point: Our staff, holding the orange Athens Walking Tours sign, will be waiting for you inside the Syntagma Metro Station, at the big hall underneath the hanging clock, next to the ticket validating machines. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to given tour departure time.

Ask us for pick up from your hotel! Some, but not all hotels are conveniently located within the route of the tour and in this case, our guide will gladly meet you at your hotel lobby and start your tour from there.

On this tour you will walk through a nice area of the city center and you will visit some beautiful historical spots, monuments and government buildings to which they will lead you to your main highlight attraction the Benaki museum. The Vast collection of this museum is exhibited on three floors and is a representation of Greek History and its development.

Athens City Center Attractions

The tour starts with an explanation of the archaeological exhibits of the Syntagma metro station. Then you see the House of Parliament with the monument to the Unknown Soldier and the Evzones - the presidential guards to which you will have a chance to also see the changing of the guards. After, you will walk through the National Gardens to reach the Presidential residence and then end up at the unique Benaki Museum.
